Sheridan WalkerSheridan Walker

With more than 20 years of clinical background experience and more than 12 years in the staffing industry, Sheridan brings a wealth of broad-based expertise in working with people with disabilities, veterans and the aging population.

She has worked with several corporations who value diversity by providing training for recruiters and managers and placing hundreds of people from the Untapped Workforce into corporate environments.

Sheridan has lectured across the country on many topics related to disability issues including compliance, recruiting, hiring, retaining, managing, training, risk management and workers compensation.

She has served on the National Disability Mentoring Day Committee for Colorado, the U.S. Business Leadership Network on the Employment of People with Disabilities (formally known as the President’s Task Force on the Employment of People with Disabilities), and the Colorado Business Leadership Network for the employment of people with disabilities.

Currently, Sheridan serves on a committee for the Brain Injury Association of Colorado and was recently asked to serve on the Denver Mayor’s Commission for People with Disabilities.

Sheridan received a B.A. in Recreation Administration with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from California Polytechnic State University, and is certified with the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation and the American Board of Disability Analysis.
